BARRÉ, Rémi

Rémi Barré is Professor at CNAM University where he teaches on research management, science and innovation policy and science – society issues.
He is Scientific advisor of Futuris, a Paris-based think tank specialized in research and innovation policy analysis in a foresight context.
He has been Director of the Studies and Foresight department at the General directorate for Research and Innovation, at the Ministry for Higher Education and Research (2006 – 2009), Director of the foresight department at INRA (National institute for agronomic research) (2003-2005) and Director of the Observatoire des Sciences et des Techniques (OST), public institution in charge of the production of the Science and Technology indicators report and advice to the government (1990-2002).
He has been Chairman of the “ERA monitoring – ERA indicators” Expert Group (DG Research) (2009) and Vice Chairman of the “ERA vision” expert group of the Centre d’Analyse Stratégique (CAS) (2007-2008).
