Vice-President for Science and Technology, Islamic Republic of Iran

Dr. Sorena Sattari is the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Vice President for Science and Technology as well as the president of National Elites Foundation. He received both his M.Sc. and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, where he eventually became a faculty member. He has got two nationally and internationally validated patents and has authored 14 books and several scientific papers published in national and international scientific journals. 

Dr. Sattari has also been the former president of Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI), head of Nanotechnology Division of RIPI, head of Energy department of International Institute of Energy, and director of the Iranian Fuel Conservation Organization.
